Hello. My name is Stephanie Waters. I work with Pre-School children ages 3-5 year olds. I am an enrolled member of the Oglala Sioux Tribe of the Pine Ridge Reservation. I wanted to become a teacher and provide my services to our Lakota children in my community and to help them make a future goal to complete their educational endeavors.
I graduated from Oglala Lakota College with my Associated of Arts degree in Early Childhood. I was influenced to work with children by my mother, who worked in the Early Childhood Program. I also recieved my Associated of Arts in Elementary Education, and Associated of Arts degree in Lakota Studies. I plan on working on my Bachelors of Science in Elementary Education and Bachelors in Early Childhood and complete in June of 2012.
It is a learning experience and challenge for me every day, and I love it!
I enjoy working with preschool children.
